Implants

For many years titanium has been an accepted material for implants. Although often denied in the past, it has now been established that titanium can cause intolerance reactions or infections.

In order to prevent a false investment in terms of health and capital, we always recommend preventive, scientifically proven tests which we regard as very safe and reliable. The success rate for biocompatible materials clearly exceeds 90%.

Even after a quite frequent diagnosis of titanium intolerance, an implant can, nevertheless, be inserted: reliable ceramic implants are available and if appropriate, we supervise the placement of these implants.

If a titanium implant is applied, we still use ceramic for the tooth in order to prevent mutual interferences of different metals in the mouth.
